Final Asphalt Paving

On Thursday, September 27th, Peter Baker & Sons, Inc. will be on-site to install the final lift of asphalt pavement. The pavement will be cleaned as soon as the sod contractor is completed today. On Thursday morning (tomorrow), the existing asphalt surface will be coated with fresh oil and sand. The oil will help the top coat of asphalt bond to the existing layer. The layer of sand is to help prevent track the oil into your driveways. Please try to keep you driving to a minimum while the oil dries. If you must drive on the oil, please drive slowly to help prevent splattering onto your vehicle.

If paving cannot start Thursday, then it will begin on Friday.

All cars must be removed from the street between 7 AM and 6 PM on the day the roadway will be paved. Parking is available on Fontana or Pick during daytime hours.

Access to driveways will still be available, although there may be short delays during the paving process. Please adjust you schedules accordingly. We will be in contact with the school bus company to notify them of the schedule.

Thanks again for all of your patience during this process.
